Since 2007, Tour de Cure has raised over $130 million to fund 823 life-changing cancer research, prevention, and support projects—leading to an incredible 139 cancer breakthroughs. These efforts shine a light of hope for families and individuals facing this relentless disease.What is Ride for a Cure 2025?In 2025, we are proud to support the Westpac Ride for a Cure, the cornerstone of the broader Move for a Cure initiative, which unites the Westpac community and partners in promoting health, wellness, and a shared mission to eradicate cancer. From 8-11 March, more than 200 riders will embark on a challenging 275km to 437km journey from Mudgee to Sydney, stopping at local schools in communities like Bathurst to share life-saving cancer awareness messages.Who’s going the distance? Leading the charge for Protiviti are Managing Director and Australia ESG Solution Leader Richard Turley, Associate Director Daniel Grazel, and Senior Manager Brooke Osbourne, who will dedicate 16 weeks of rigorous training—and hundreds of kilometres on the saddle—in preparation for this incredible event. Managing Director Rana Datta and Senior Director Rupesh Mahto, Directors Anastasia Terescenco and will provide essential support , embodying the spirit of teamwork and dedication that defines this cause. Like so many others, I have witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of this disease on friends and family, losing loved ones along the way. This is definitely going to be a hard slog. I used to be fairly spry on the bike when living in the UK a few years ago but have not been out for a long ride for quite a while!
