Pioneering Employee Experience and Delivering Client Excellence

Chenell York

Senior Manager, Atlanta

Chenell York knows there’s power in paying attention to experience. She’s built her career on it.

"To me, innovation isn’t just about technology; it’s about thinking how we can do better every single day – for our clients and our teams."

Shaping Our Client’s Experiences

With Protiviti’s clients, Chenell develops tailored design and user experience solutions, evaluating a solution’s desirability, viability, and feasibility. “I help our teams understand the business context and customer journeys in which our products will be used,” she explains.

Having worked in Consumer Products & Services, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services, Manufacturing & Distribution, Private Equity and Technology, Media & Telecommunications Industries during her three years at Protiviti, she’s well-equipped to navigate complex business challenges with ease.

Combining creativity with technical expertise, she recently helped redesign a client's website to improve user experience and mobile responsiveness, ensuring the delivery of an innovative and effective solution.

“To me, innovation isn’t just about technology; it’s about thinking how we can do better every single day – for our clients and our teams” she said. “My goal is to make the complex simple and the simple impactful, transforming challenges into victories.”

Empowering Our Teams Through Listening

Chenell recently turned her focus on experience inward, playing an instrumental role in the development and release of Protiviti's Employee Experience App.

Thinking “experience-first” Chenell and team set out to find a more granular, consistent, and comprehensive snapshot of the day-to-day employee experience in real-time, creating a feedback loop for more direct and timely responses that’s simple and easy for our people to use.

“Honestly – we’re proud to say that’s exactly what we’ve created,” Chenell said.

The Employee Experience App confidentially captures employee input on project-based and daily experiences. From there it quickly translates insight into action, helping Protiviti’s leaders address issues and optimize the employee experience.

"The Employee Experience App will empower our team members to voice their needs and see tangible changes," Chenell shares.

Piloted in nine markets, across four countries and with several large project teams around the world, the Employee Experience App has collected more than 400 unique responses on the client engagement experience. It’s now available to all Protiviti employees worldwide and Chenell and team are excited to see the impact.

At Protiviti, we care about the experience of our clients and our team’s, and we’re proud of how Chenell’s focus on delivering impactful solutions represents that commitment.
