Keeping Companies Safe from Cyber Attacks and Championing Inclusion

Joshua Cloud

Manager, Houston

Joshua is an example of dedication both in his role within Protiviti's Tech Consulting practice and as a leader advocating for diversity and inclusion.

"I am passionate about helping my clients understand their security vulnerabilities, the root causes of these issues, and how they can remediate them to keep their organisations safer."

A Cybersecurity Mindset Focused on Innovation

Embarking on his Protiviti journey in 2019 after transitioning from public accounting, Joshua quickly evolved into an Attack and Penetration group leader within Tech Consulting.

“I am passionate about helping my clients understand their security vulnerabilities, the root causes of these issues, and how they can remediate them to keep their organisations safer.”

Joshua’s genuine enthusiasm for ethical hacking—which helps organisations understand their own vulnerabilities and prevent data from being stolen and misused by malicious attackers—has not only propelled him forward but also ensures that we deliver cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to our clients.

Leading with Empathy and Engagement

As the head of BEING Men, part of Protiviti’s initiative for Black employees, Joshua fosters an environment where individuals can share their experiences openly. He works tirelessly to create an inclusive atmosphere that uplifts every voice within the firm.

Advocating for Growth and Mentorship

Through mentorship programs and advocacy work within BEING Men, Joshua ensures members have the tools they need for professional growth. He says, "It's about creating pathways for success that are clear, accessible, and equitable."

Joshua’s commitment to delivering cybersecurity innovation for clients while nurturing an inclusive community at Protiviti is what makes his story a testament to Life At Protiviti.
