Payal Shah

Payal is a Managing Director within Protiviti's Technology Consulting practice in Los Angeles with over 18 years of business and technology experience in industry and consulting across a variety of industries. She co-leads our global Workday practice and Workday Center of Excellence. Payal has worked with clients to design, implement and optimize Workday and other ERP systems to help them achieve their business goals. She has considerable experience in driving business transformation and technology adaptation. Prior to joining Protiviti, Payal was the Director of IT in a $ 1B+ multi-national corporation, responsible for North American IT strategy, applications, infrastructure / operations and governance.

MAJOR PROJECTS

• Assisted multiple large and mid-size large acute health care organizations to successfully design and deploy Workday Financials, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll. Engagement scope included program management assistance, fit / gap analysis, Workday build / process optimization, testing plan and facilitation, data mapping / migration / cutover assistance, end user training and change enablement.
• Led the implementation of Workday Financials, HCM and Payroll at organizations across diverse industries. Responsible for overall program management, systems implementer (SI) management, Workday solution design leveraging automated system controls, development of future state design documentation, application integration design, testing assistance including issue management and resolution, end-user training and post-implementation support and optimization.
• Assisted a technology services company implementing Workday Financials to develop and implement the future-state Workday solution design that addressed existing gaps /manual processes and considered leading practices. Project scope included development of the conceptual Workday Financial Data Model (FDM), identification of Workday automated controls and Workday security design.
• Supported organizations with ongoing Workday application support and enhancements utilizing alternative delivery models to provide value-added services cost-effectively.
• Organizational change management assistance to clients during major ERP implementations.
• Track record of managing and implementing complex full life-cycle ERP projects on time and budget in Fortune 500 companies, multi-national organizations and non-profit entities.
