Cory Gunderson

Cory is Chief Operating Officer & Executive Vice President, Global Solutions for Protiviti and a member of the Executive Team, reporting directly to the President and CEO. He oversees and coordinates the firm’s range of consulting practices, including technology, operations, finance, digital, legal, risk/compliance and internal audit. Cory works with the firm’s solutions leadership team to continue advancing and developing Protiviti’s delivery capabilities to help clients solve increasingly complex challenges. In addition, he is responsible for overseeing the firm’s strategy and innovation investments.

Cory was named in June 2009 as one of the “Top 25” Consultants in the consulting industry by Consulting Magazine.  He has focused primarily on the financial services industry, advising banks, insurance companies, specialty finance and other lending institutions, ranging from Top Five Bank Holding companies to Fortune 1000 Financial Institutions.  Cory began his career in the financial services practice of Arthur Andersen.

Cory has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from DePaul University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Chicago. He is on the Executive Committee of the Advisory Board for the Driehaus School of Business at DePaul University, a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Museum of American Finance and on the Board for the Lane Tech College Prep High School Alumni Association.
