Major Projects

  • Cloud Migration and Cost Optimization – Engaged with a Global Energy company that required an immediate exit from their colocation data center into the cloud. Lead a rapid response for assessment, wave migration planning, and modernization with TCO projections and cost optimization of migrated services.
  • Cloud Migration - As a rapid response to an incident, partnered with a Fortune 50 major healthcare client to lead the transformation and complete shutdown of a provider data center by migrating the entire footprint to the cloud over 18 weeks with cost constraints. The new cloud tenant provided enhanced security as well as scalability and availability. Provided post-production managed service prior to operational handoff to the client.
  • Hybrid Cloud Design – Lead numerous hybrid cloud designs and cloud readiness assessments in Azure and AWS environments spanning Air Transportation, Power and Utilities and Financial Services designed to consume and standardize the IT infrastructure especially in relation to acquisition and divestiture.
  • App Migration to Native Cloud Design – Partnered with a Fortune 500 financial institution to design, architect and deploy a secure Azure cloud instance in support of the complete transformation of the organizations Title, Tax, Loan and Escrow software into Azure Kubernetes Service as microservices. The new Azure environment’s secure and scalable design supported the reduction of code change release to production from ~120 hours to ~4 hours.
  • Private Access Deployment– Lead the team architecting and deploying a greenfield private access solution ZPA in response to the rapid change in the workplace due to the COVID remote work scalability response at a large Financial Services organization. Private Access was established to provide rapid scaling, work from anywhere while establishing edge level security.
  • Program maturity improvement – Lead a modern Devops/DevSecOps program modernization that was designed to help a Fortune 500 care Provider reduce the iterative process of security design review of cloud applications, achieve measurable and demonstrable performance improvement of rapid release schedules and encourage adoption by Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Engineering and Cloud Security.
