Holly Lindstrom Director Holly is a Director within our Business Improvement Process with a specialty in our Supply Chain Practice. Prior to joining Protiviti, Holly spent 5+ years at Target Corporation, focusing on Global Strategic Sourcing, Product Development, and Project Management. Since joining Protiviti she has focused on process improvement, spend analysis, and cost reduction through indirect sourcing activities. Major Projects: Global Strategic Sourcing – Developed global sourcing strategies for Fortune 50 company balancing the risks and benefits of entering or expanding new countries of origin for production. Focused on the regulatory environment, social impact, infrastructure, lead times, and landed costs when determining placement of production globally. Procurement Organizational Design and Development – Designed and implemented an Indirect Procurement Department by developing an organization design and roles and responsibilities, a defined sourcing process, and an overall governance structure. Concurrently to the department build, acted as the interim department generating savings through strategic negotiations, resulting in $7.7M in captured savings. Contract Management Design – Assessed current state processes, and designed and implemented process for approving, managing, and storing contracts. Identified key areas where technology could enhance the process and developing a vendor shortlist to explore an RFP for a CLM technology. Project Management – Led the project management on private label brands totaling over $350M at retail. Collaborated with design, technical, merchandising, and sourcing teams ranging from commodity to trend product lines. Developed timelines and key milestones to allow product launch dates to be achieved. COGS Reduction – Developed and executed a targeted strategic approach based on each unique category and the current business environment. Reduced COGS on a $350M at retail category by 7.5% and an incremental 6% the following year through utilization of competitive negotiations, product engineering, and consolidation of vendors to exceed cost reduction goals. Process Improvement and Implementation – Assessed current process for cost savings program approvals within mid-range hospital system. Produced recommendations to streamline process through structured meetings, templates, and reporting. After executive approval of recommendations, facilitated the implementation of the new process, responsible for guidance, training, and reporting to both the department and leadership. Vendor Risk Assessment and Management – Conducted risk assessments on supplier base focusing on relationship, financial, and executional risk factors. Created contingency plans for supplies based on identified risk to ensure no disruption to the business.
