Protiviti will provide an overview of the latest developments in ESG reporting with a focus on the EU-CSRD, and the impact this will have on the way organisations are organising the sustainability programmes and the way in which internal auditors can contribute. New regulations will not only have an impact on ESG-reporting, but more importantly, it will impact strategy setting, governance, risk management, controls and assurance.

Most high value audits in ESG

What are the most valued audits with regards to ESG. During this session we will focus on some examples such as: data validation, internal controls, governance reviews, supply chain and more.

ESG Assurance

New regulations will require organisations to present an external assurance report on the ESG disclosures. This will be a complete new topic in the ESG-domain. In this session, we will go deeper into the complexities of this assurance requirement. Internal Auditors can play a pivotal role in making their organisations ready for this challenge.
