Ryan Reents Associate Director Ryan Reents is a section leader within Protiviti’s Merger and Acquisition practice and has 12+ years of experience across the transaction lifecycle. He has spent time both in industry and public consulting. Ryan is viewed by his clients and collogues as an SME in the areas of transaction synergies, dis-synerges, strategic cost take outs, financial modeling, transition service agreements (TSAs), and financial planning and execution; Ryan advises clients on complex integration and divestitures where he provides guidance on defining, establishing and running IMO, SMOs, and PMOs. He has a history of working on Protiviti’s most complex transactions across the lifecycle including due diligence, planning, and execution. In addition to standing-up operations with no disruption to flight operations, we supported the organisation through their largest business transformation, which included relocating headquarters, development and deployment of a new intranet, and redesign of comp and benefit plans in-time for open enrollment in Nov 2019 Fortune 50 Telecom – Led stand-up and execution of TSAs across all workstreams with a focus on IT contract identification, negotiation, and implementation for the divested business unit; All TSAs were exited 3 months earlier than anticipated Fortune 100 Telecom – Led all divestiture planning and execution activities with a team of 32 cross-boarder individuals across 4 separate transactions; Partnered with Corporate Development leadership to design a repeatable process and proprietary operational due diligence and separation playbooks Leading Rideshare Platform – Reported directly to the Vice President of Corporate Development to lead all IMO and carve-out activities for a $700MM transaction. Key accomplishments included: managing the integration office and data room, pre-LD1 integration planning, and creation / execution management of TSAs across 7 workstreams Leading Hospitality Platform – Reported directly to the CFO to support 3 simultaneous international acquisitions totaling $1.7B in transaction value. Key accomplishments included: designing a repeatable M&A platform that could be used on future transactions, acceleration of product launch into new EMEA markets, and seamless cultural integration into the organisation Top 5 Credit Card Issuer – Reported directly to the Vice President of Strategy to support the stand-up of a $750MM joint venture in China. Key accomplishments included: management of US and Chinese teams, development of financial / legal guiding principles, stand-up of the Board of Directors, and identification / implementation of supporting TSAs.
