Laura is a Director in the Technology Strategy and Architecture practice within the Technology Consulting segment. She leads technology strategy and operations for Protiviti clients and delivers advisory management services for the CIO/CTO and CISO's agenda, including: Technology Strategy & Operations, Business Composability, Innovation & Product Development, Business Transformation, Operational Efficiency, Cyber Security, Risk Management, Vendor Management and Workforce Agility. She is also Head of Product for Protiviti’s Workforce Intelligence Platform, using AI to enable accuracy, speed and insights into talent management efforts, and unlocking growth opportunities to upskill and reskill the workforce.

Laura is a dynamic, performance driven Agile technology professional and “change agent” with 20+ years comprehensive experience building, supporting and coaching technology and business strategy for world class organisations within the enterprise and as a consultant. She has expertise in implementing transformational business initiatives, organisational alignment, work & change management, and building high performing teams to streamline operations and boost company performance using technology enabled best practices.

Before Protiviti, Laura was Vice President of Technology & Transformation at WeWork where she scaled corporate and member technology services as well as leading Agile Transformation across all business functions during exponential company growth. Prior to that, Laura lead Technology and Agile organisations at enterprises such as Viacom and the U.S. Department of Commerce, as well as founding Optimise Consulting Group to provide Lean Agile Mindset and Design Thinking advisory services to innovative startups and enterprise companies across industries, including Biotechnology, Marketing, Retail and Real Estate.

  • Leader for Corporate Technology & Agile Transformation for global company

Executed new corporate strategy to achieve breakthrough performance. Accountable for identifying and championing areas for optimisation across the company and leading transformational efforts to define new strategy, build models for scaled velocity, lead effective execution and ensure continuous learning for sustained growth and performance. Served as a Transformational Architect to C-Suite to assess and optimise their people, process and technology using the Lean Agile Mindset.

  • Leader for Technology Program and Operations Office for global companies

Transformed technology enterprise to a scaled Agile framework that streamlined operations for 75 international products. Responsible for collaboration, alignment and delivery across the Digital Platform, Brand Portfolios, Corporate Infrastructure, Corporate Applications and central Platform Development and Operations. Created and staffed central Platform Operations PMO, including Standards & Governance, Risk Management, Product Delivery, Process Engineering, Operations Management, Agile Coaching and Technical Writing practices. Managed the Platform Enterprise Portfolio for the CIO/CTO including 15+ Programs.

  • Hands on Technology Product and Delivery Management

Provided hands on delivery for major companies to realise value in their most complex technology challenges and programs. Facilitated product design development and roll-out of new platforms and integrations as well as driving adoption of products. Organised and lead teams in system design, code review, software testing, delivery and implementations on multiple client facing technology platforms globally. Lead product initiatives using Lean Agile scaled techniques and IT Service Management initiatives using ITIL and ITSM best practices.

  • Interim IT Leadership

Provided leadership support to Global CIO/CTO/CISO of large enterprise companies supporting the organisational transformation that included strategic alignment, governance and accountability for milestone achievement. Led the reengineering and transformation of IT functions to optimise operational models ensuring team ownership and accountability to results. Led the development of the operating model for global companies and facilitated the development of the organisational structure to support the model inclusive of an implementation change management plan and aligning people, process and technology.
