Proud partnership: Protiviti joins Neurodiversity in Business Protiviti UK is proud to partner with Neurodiversity in Business (NiB)– a industry forum supporting the inclusion of neurodivergent individuals in the workplace. The forum, which launched in 2022 at the Houses of Parliament, is led by CEO Dan J. Harris and a team of neurodivergent experts, and those with direct experience of neurodiversity from across the business community. NiB is supported by a large number of global businesses as corporate members. NiB’s mission is to help develop more neuroinclusive workplaces by drawing on the cumulative knowledge from across the forum and working with businesses through sharing best practices to improve the employment and experience of the neurodiverse workforce. These best practices may include enabling a better hiring process that does not exclude neurodivergent candidates, to helping identify easy modifications to the workplace environment that can support sustainable employment opportunities. Tom Lemon, Managing Director and UK Country Market Leader, Protiviti, said: “Partnering with NiB provides a great opportunity for us to make a positive difference. Embracing a neurodiverse workforce is hugely important for businesses and I’m looking forward to what lies ahead through our new partnership.” Regarding Protiviti UK joining NiB, Dan Harris said: “We are delighted that Protiviti UK has become a corporate member of NiB. It signals their commitment to ensuring a truly inclusive workplace and a desire to strive for the best in diversity and inclusion standards. We look forward to working with Protiviti UK and all our members in delivering meaningful change for neurodivergent people across business.” Neurodiversity describes many commonplace conditions which alter the way people perceive and interpret information and the world around them. Conditions may include autism, dyslexia, dyscalculia and ADHD. Across the UK, various reports show that between 15-20% of people are neurodivergent. In real terms, that is between 10 and 13.5 million people. Yet, just 15% of this group are in any employment whatsoever. You can find out more about NiB here. Topics Board Matters
