Amanda Downs has 30 years of working in Technology, starting her career in the US Navy and leading new technology innovation projects to her current role as Application Innovation & Modernisation (AIM) Managing Director. Her passion comes from seeing the clients she partners with achieve their business vision, desired outcomes, and purpose through enabling Technology. Her focus is Application Innovation & Modernisation solutions to help clients create new applications and modernise existing technology stacks to digitise their value chain, build agility and flexibility in operations and reduce the risks of technical debt. In addition, she helps clients accelerate their digital transformation with flexible delivery models like agile projects, teams of SMEs, or managed services teams. At the end of the day, Amanda delivers leading-edge technology consulting solutions that help clients enhance and protect their Technology’s value for the business and provides clients with valuable expertise to improve their technology performance and outcomes.

Amanda leads applications development teams that create, redesign, and rearchitect custom applications, websites, mobile applications, and portals. She partners with our clients to achieve the following:

  • Innovate and create new digital products and services that improve our client's competitive position and drive new revenue models.
  • Modernise existing applications through re-platform, redesigning, rearchitecting, or rebuilding single or multiple legacy applications to improve user experience, resiliency, and scalability, and train and upskill the client's team.
  • Build enterprise integration platforms that connect systems with distributed data and logic that work within the platform and application layers while ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Leverage our flexible delivery models that meet the client on where they are in their innovation and modernization journey and address more than talent shortages with our ability to flex into an extensive AIM programme.
